What can I say, the fuel prices are out-of-this-world at this time but we managed to get out in our RV for the first time this year (May 2022).
We had a great time especially because of the repairs and improvements/upgrades we made to our RV during the off-season. The improvements were:
- New Residencial Refrigerator Installed
- Front Safe-T-Steer Install
- Front and Rear KONI Shocks Installed
- Front SUMO Spring Installed
- New Updated Headlamps Installed
Our travel plans were to stay within the state of Florida. So we found this new RV Resort just west of Jacksonville. It wasn’t quite finished but they were accepting early guests as they were completing the renovations. The resort was Island Oaks RV Resort.
Our next stop was a state Park/Campground, Rainbow Springs State Park Campground.
We had lots of fun especially because I was able to avoid a near accident while driving our RV!
